On your device. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and your rosters, people, volumes and settings are never uploaded. The app sends only anonymous feature-usage analytics — and you can switch that off in Settings.
No. Everything, including the optional agreement scan, runs on your device with plain pattern matching and deterministic rostering rules. No AI service is contacted.
